1. Installation

Step 1: Extract the Theme

After purchasing your license, extract the folder with HostPulse theme content directly into the root directory of your WHMCS installation. This will effectively add all necessary HostPulse files.

Note: Ensure you extract the files into the root of WHMCS (the same directory where configuration.php is located), not into a subfolder.

Step 2: Overwrite Existing Files

When prompted, overwrite existing files if necessary. This will replace the old files with the new HostPulse theme files.

2. Theme Activation

Step 1: Access WHMCS Admin Area

Navigate to your WHMCS admin area, typically found at yourdomain.com/admin.

Step 2: Select HostPulse as Your System Theme

  • Go to General Settings.
  • From the System Theme dropdown, select HostPulse.
  • Click Save to apply the changes.

Step 3: Select HostPulse as Your Order Form Theme

  • While still in General Settings, go to the Ordering tab.
  • Select HostPulse from the Order Form Template dropdown.
  • Click Save to apply the changes.

3. Branding

Copywriting and Customization

HostPulse is designed to be as universal as possible. However, you can tweak the copywriting to better fit your brand by editing the .tpl files located in /templates/HostPulse.

Company Name and Logo

By default, HostPulse will prominently use your company name and logo set at the WHMCS level, minimizing the need for manual adjustments.

Editing SEO Meta Tags

To edit or change SEO meta tags, navigate to /templates/HostPulse/SEO/all.tpl and make your desired changes.

Social Media Integration

HostPulse dynamically inserts social media icons across the system. To add your social media links:

  • Go to General Settings > Social.
  • Add your social media links.
  • HostPulse will automatically display these icons throughout the theme.

4. Compatibility

HostPulse currently supports the latest WHMCS version (8.10) as well as older versions. Ensure your WHMCS installation is updated to avoid compatibility issues.

5. Changing Styles

HostPulse template offers 9 predefined styles. To see which one suits you best, check out our demo at demos.oxiee.com/HostPulse.

How to Change the Style:

  1. Navigate to the Template Directory: Go to /templates/HostPulse/includes.
  2. Edit the Head Template File: Open head.tpl.
  3. Replace the Style Sheet: Find style.css in the code. Replace it with one of the available styles listed below:
    • style.css (Default blue)
    • style-black.css (Black/dark)
    • style-blue.css (Classic blue)
    • style-brown.css (Brown/Golden)
